the program
A horse can ONLY be nominated by the Owner/Registered Lessee to the Spotted Show Incentive Program. This is done as follows by:
- Sending a completed Nomination Form, attaching a copy of current approved registration papers, both sides. Fee must accompany Nomination Form, and is based on the date the application AND FEE is received.
Once a horse is accepted for the program a letter of acceptance will be sent from the Chair.
- Show points obtained BEFORE a horse was nominated and accepted, will NOT be used in any calculation toward the Incentive Program's point calculation.
-
Owners/Registered Lessees are responsible for obtaining their horse's Performance reports from the show's manager, and sending the horse's best three (3) Performance Reports, by mail to the Chair. It is the responsibility of the Owner to verify the receipt of said report by 10/31/2008.
The Chair will review Performance Reports. Each horse is allowed three (3) events total. They may be a combination of three local shows or two local shows and either a World Show or a National Show.
Chair will combine all points from each horse's Performance Report, combining all points earned from all nominated horses, for a Total Points earned in the program.
-
This number will be divided into 90% of the funds collected in the Incentive Fund. A dollar value will be given to each point earned. (NOTE: 10% of the gross funds will be used for on-going promotion of the Incentive Program)
The calculated dollar amount due each horse's registered owner or recorded Lessee will be sent, via the IMAPC Treasurer, with a Certificate of Accomplishment.
